Volunteers are the life-blood of Kare Bears. All of our services and administration are provided by volunteer PebbleCreek neighbors. There is a job for everyone. We have over 8,000 residents here in PebbleCreek and are growing every day. We would love to have YOU join the group of wonderful volunteers who help make the Kare Bears organization so fantastic.
Estimated time commitment: 1-3 hours per month (varies according to resident)s)
Acts as a liaison between a neighbor in need of assistance and the services offered by Kare Bears. Visits, lends a kare-ing ear, sends a get well card, provides a list of resources and informs residents of FREE services. Coordinators also deliver welcome packets. Great way to meet your neighbors! Training provided.
March 2023 - Coordinators are needed for units:
1, 1A, 6, 8, 15, 23, 26, 36, 37, 39, 58, 59, 61
(you do not need oto live in the Unit to be its coordinator)
Estimated time commitment: 2-4 hours per month (or more if you wish)
Use your vehicle to transport residents to and from medically related appointments with at least 24 hour notice; mileage reimbursement is provided by Kare Bears.
Estimated time commitment: minimum shifts of 3 hours per month

Answer phones, loan medical equipment and coordinate transportation for medical appointments, etc.
Personal computer knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.
You will be provided with the required training.

Organizing and/or working celebration events requiring help with decorations, soliciting donations, ticket sales, food arrangements, etc.

Work at CPR/AED classes, blood drives, hearing tests, flu/pneumonia clinics, etc.
One day in January or February
Kare Bears volunteers deliver the PebbleCreek Source Book each Spring. You will pickup books at Kare Bears House and delivery them to assigned addresses (typically about 70 or so)
