Kare-ing Neighbors Inc., more affectionately known as Kare Bears, is a non-profit 501c3 organization made up of PebbleCreek residents ( male and female) who help their fellow neighbors in time of need. (Please note that we are NOT caregivers.) It is comforting to know that Kare Bears is here and is concerned about the welfare of everyone living in PebbleCreek. You don’t have to be old or sick to benefit from some of our services.
Of primary importance, Kare Bears loans out medical equipment and drives residents to medically related appointments free of charge! But that is only a part of what we do.
Kare Bears brings annual Flu Shots to PebbleCreek. Throughout the year we offer Audiology Testing, AED/CPR training , and Blood Drives. On a regular monthly basis (excluding June, July, August and November) We provide dynamic speakers who are well-known in their special clinical areas. Kare Bears also has a informational library and a 40 page "Directory of Services" that provides many resources.
We have an ongoing program worked through our Kare Bears Unit Coordinators. The Coordinators are the “go to people” for learning what Kare Bears provides. We are now serving approximately 10,000 residents with more arriving every month. We even have a Bingo group for Super Seniors that meets every Friday.
if you are interested in learning about Kare Bears or becoming a volunteer for this vital, active and important organization, please explore the "About KB" tab items listed above on this website. If you click on the Volunteer Interest Form under Volunteer tab, you can sign up to volunteer.
