Kare Bears Annual Health and Wellness Fair

Saturday, February 8; 9 AM to Noon; Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse

It is that time of year again! Put on your comfortable shoes, grab your spouse, friend or neighbor and head on over to the 2020 Kare Bears’ Health & Wellness Fair. You are due to gather a lot of useful information on how to stay healthy and get the most out of life.

This year’s exhibits will have something to offer almost everyone. With the focus being on health & wellness, we want to offer PC residents information and opportunities that will increase the quality of your lives. There will be alternative therapies to explore including:

  • acupuncture massage
  • essential oils
  • CBD products
  • chiropractic treatment
  • Osteopathic manipulative therapy

Specialty medical practices include:

  • audiology
  • cardiology
  • dermatology
  • endocrinology
  • orthopedics
  • plastic surgery
  • podiatry
  • urology
  • vascular medicine

As in previous years, Goodyear Fire and Goodyear Police Departments will have representatives there. Our two local hospitals, Abrazo West Campus and Banner Estrella Medical Center will have exhibits as well as Dignity Health Arizona General E.R. in Goodyear.

You can visit with therapy dogs and find out what it takes to become one of these valuable healing visitors. Many of the free support groups and clubs that are based here in PebbleCreek will be there for you to interface with on a one-to-one basis.

This year we have several new attendees including, but not limited to: Meals of Joy, AARP, the Lions Club, Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic and Fine Fittings (breast prosthetics, wigs & toppers).

Several of the providers will offer experiential opportunities including

  • venous ultrasound
  • blood pressure readings
  • spinal assessments
  • massage

There will be valet service offered for those who cannot walk to the clubhouse from their parked car. However, since this is a very popular event, we recommend that you carpool in order to ensure there is ample parking for all attendees.
