The Fall Luncheon Was a Big Success

“The Golden Treasures of PebbleCreek”

Our 24th Annual Kare Bears Awards luncheon was a huge success for 2019! On behalf of the Kare Bears Events Chairs, Susan Fallon and Linda Jo Orinski – we would like to thank everyone that volunteered to be a part of this year’s event!

This year our theme was “PebbleCreek’s Golden Treasures” which highlighted the talent and the amazing volunteers.

Joe Chimera, our Emcee this year, kept the pace moving for the entire luncheon.

Dance Fusion gave us a sample of their amazing talent with a dance routine – which was one of the highlights in the play “Music Man”.

Prior to the luncheon starting, PebbleCreek’s very own artist, Gary Katula painted caricatures for some of our lucky guests attending this event.

There were raffles, cash prizes and the silent auction items that were won by some lucky attendees.

Since this is the Award luncheon, there were five “Exceptional Service Awards” given out and the “Founder's Award” to one very deserving person.

Receiving the Founder's Award was Jane Cook.

The Exceptional Service Awards were earned by Laurie Overson, Muriel Milewski, Linda Jo Orinski, Peggy Major, and Kathy Bates. (Left to right in photo)

A ”Friend of Kare Bears Award” was given to BMD Printing owner Brian Day who does a lot of the printing for several Kare Bears events year after year.

The great luncheon was served by the awesome waiters and waitress staff at Tuscany Ballroom. Our yummy desserts were donated by Nothing Bundt Cakes!

A special thank you to all the generous sponsors we had this year. Without your continued support, we could not put on our Annual Luncheon each year.

Kare Bears is grateful to be part of the PebbleCreek community ~ from the dedicated volunteers to the generous sponsors.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and The Chairs from this year’s luncheon, we thank you!!
