Donating Medical Equipment
Kare Bears also accepts donated medical equipment at Kare Bears House, but only regular business hours.
A receipt for your donation must be issued, so please DO NOT just leave items in the entrance-way.
Note that we accept ONLY the types of items we loan:
wheelchairs, canes, walkers, knee scooters and crutches.
Donations
Kare Bears is 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization and donations to Kare Bears may be tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Kare Bears has no membership dues. Sources of income include an annual support campaign, memorial gifts and donations from individuals, community organizations and fundraisers.
Donations for to support our operations, medical equipment, and assistance are encouraged and appreciated; as well as consideration of Memorial and Honor Gifts for designated giving. Gifts and correspondence may be sent to:

Southwest Lending Closet
This is a neighboring community based charitable organization which can supply you with hygienic types medical equipment not loaned from us.
Kare Bears enthusiastically supports Southwest Lending Closet.
They will accept donations of potty chairs, toilet seats, shower chairs and any other hygienic type medical equipment. These items for donation should be taken to: .
