VOLUNTEER POSITIONS |
| There is a job for everyone! We have over 6,500 residents in PebbleCreek and the population is growing. Many of our current volunteers have volunteered for years and they need a break. Therefore, we'd love to have you join the group of wonderful volunteers who help make the Kare Bears organization so fantastic. |
|
Kare Bears Coordinator
Estimated time: 2-4 hours a month (varies according to need).
This is a great way to meet your neighbors! If you can volunteer 2 or more hours a month, you might want to consider being a Kare Bears Coordinator. They are the Kare Bears contacts for each unit. There are several coordinators in each unit depending on its size. When someone is ill, the coordinator contacts the resident to offer assistance, either personally or with the help of a buddy,

Office Volunteers
Office Shifts are 3 hours a month or as much as you would like to give.
An office volunteer is one who answers the phone, loans out medical equipment, arranges transportation, etc. for residents while working at Kare Bears House. It's a great way to make new friends! |
|
Transportation
Estimated time: 2-4 hours a month or as much as you would like to give.
Volunteers use their own vehicles to transport residents to medical related appointments. Kare Bears reimburses the drivers for their gas. |
